Hailing from Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Liane Dufour moved to the district of Sainte-Dorothée to start a family more than 30 years ago. She is open to the world and completed her studies in administration in Morocco.
Dufour worked for more than 15 years in the corporate world before joining the Fabre MPP as political attachée. This experience allowed her to discover community life and the business world in Sainte-Dorothée, all the while developing a strong understanding of its issues. The experience lead her to become a volunteer in many organizations within Sainte-Dorothée and to chair on the boards for the Pavillon de Sainte-Dorothée and the Cercle des fermières de l’Ouest de Laval.
Dufour is close to her fellow citizens – she has decided to get involved at the municipal level as it is the level of government closest to its citizens.
“I am happy to lend my years of experience within the community to the organizations and citizens of Sainte-Dorothée, a neighbourhood that has a special place in my heart. Parti Laval reflects my values and I am very proud to be part of a team that will make Laval shine.’’
