A mother of three and a Laval resident for over 25 years, including 20 years in Vimont, Liria Serrano is presenting her candidacy with a clear objective: to do politics differently. With 27 years' experience as a policewoman in the field, she wants to put safety, integrity and citizen service back at the heart of municipal priorities.

The first female police officer for the city of Deux-Montagnes, Liria stands out for her unique combination of courage, commitment and public service. In addition to her involvement in her union and on the governing board of her children's elementary school, she has also been a member of the military, a caregiver for her mother and a pioneer in traditionally masculine environments.

Hard-working, honest and rigorous, Liria identifies with Parti Laval's humane and pragmatic vision: healthy finances, safe neighborhoods and a city focused on the real needs of its citizens. She wants to prove that it is possible to elect elected officials with integrity, who are accessible and deeply committed to their community.
