Isabel Dion
Candidate in Saint-François | District #01
An experienced social worker, Isabel Dion holds a master's degree in international development management and community action, as well as a bachelor's degree in social work. Her career has taken her to the four corners of Quebec, particularly to northern aboriginal communities, where she has developed solutions adapted to the realities on the ground.
A candidate in Alfred-Pellan in the last federal election, she has been an active activist since 2017, sitting on several boards and defending causes such as social justice, the French language and human rights. She is also 2nd Vice-President of the Société Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Montréal (SSJB).
A mixed-blood Quebecer of Brazilian origin, adopted by a family from Lac-Saint-Jean, she grew up with a deep attachment to Quebec and its communities. Resilient, authentic and determined, Isabel now wants to put her listening skills and ability to bring people together at the service of Saint-François, to make it a better-served, safer and livelier district.
