An immigration lawyer and a Laval resident at heart, Aaron Rodriguez is a committed man with deep roots in his community. Co-founder of a Laval-based law firm, he defends the rights of vulnerable people every day.

With a bachelor's degree and a master's in political science, he combines a global vision with a detailed knowledge of the terrain, and has been a regular visitor to Saint-Martin for many years. In fact, he can often be found cycling in the parks, where he has coached many young athletes in basketball.

A former top-level basketball and chess athlete, he has represented Quebec and Canada on the national and international scenes. Today, he puts this discipline and team spirit at the service of citizens.

My commitments to Saint-Martin

• Make neighborhood streets safer, especially 100^e avenue between Saint-Martin and the A440, rue Cherrier and rue Légaré, adding speed bumps, signage, more streetlights and more police presence

• Maintain and enhance the neighborhood's public spaces, with the revitalization of Buteau Park (children's playground, evening lighting) and Boutilier Forest (secure access, rest areas, benches).

• Enhanced maintenance and modernization of catch basins, retention basins and water, sewer and aqueduct networks in Saint-Martin
