Guillaume Lajoie
Candidate in Duvernay | District #03
A seasoned professional in strategic communications, public affairs and citizen mobilization, Guillaume Lajoie draws on more than 15 years of experience to serve the citizens of Duvernay, the neighborhood he adopted with his wife to start a family of three boys. He has worked with large-scale organizations, from NPOs to businesses and political parties, to develop effective strategies, bring institutions closer to the people and find concrete solutions to collective challenges.
With an MBA from HEC Montréal and a master's degree in public affairs and international politics, he was also a candidate in Mille-Îles in the 2022 provincial general election for Québec Solidaire. He has distinguished himself in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship, notably with Startup Montréal and the Mouvement des accélérateurs d'innovation du Québec.
Committed to Laval for many years, Guillaume chairs the board of directors of Mieux-Naître à Laval and CPE Force Vive, and has also sat on the ad hoc committee on the French language, where he contributed to the report submitted to city council in June 2025. As a candidate for Parti Laval, he aims to improve the quality of life of Duvernay families through local infrastructure, housing, sustainable development and ongoing dialogue between the city and its citizens.
