Martin Vaillancourt
Candidate in Fabreville-Sud | District #22
A seasoned engineer with over 30 years' experience, Martin Vaillancourt has chosen to move from observation to action in order to make a constructive contribution to Laval's future. A resident of the city for nearly 20 years, he is well acquainted with the realities of Laval's neighborhoods, and sees Fabreville-Sud as a sector he knows well and understands the issues at stake.
Throughout his career, he has designed, analyzed and optimized technological projects, reducing costs while improving the efficiency and reliability of products delivered to customers. Recognized for his rigorous, analytical approach to finding simple, optimal solutions to complex problems, and a keen observer of municipal and provincial life in Laval for many years, he now wishes to put his expertise and knowledge to work for citizens, so that their issues and priorities in the field are addressed with concrete, effective and optimal solutions.

My commitments to Fabreville-Sud
- Relaunch the project to create a large park and school in the Bergerac sector, abandoned by the Boyer administration, and improve the sports infrastructure in the area.
- Make neighborhood streets safer and improve mobility by adding signage, increasing police presence, creating a new road link (between rue Édith and the A440) to relieve traffic congestion on boulevard Curé-Labelle, and improving public transit routes and service.
- Enhanced maintenance and modernization of catch basins, retention basins and water, sewer and aqueduct networks in Fabreville-Sud
