Martine Lanoue

Candidate in Laval-des-Rapides | District #06

An engineer specializing in water management for over 25 years, Martine Lanoue is an expert renowned for her rigor, leadership and commitment to the common good. She has held engineering positions with the cities of Laval and Terrebonne. She has received awards from the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, the American Water Works Association and Réseau Environnement for her social commitment, leadership in water infrastructure and sustained volunteerism.

She also holds a master's degree in chemical engineering and a short graduate program in public administration. Today, she'd like to put her expertise to good use in Laval-des-Rapides, a neighborhood she continues to visit every day and where she's forged lasting ties over the years, thanks in particular to family life, the Émile-Nelligan library and the local businesses she frequents.

Committed, accessible and a good listener, Martine believes that a city must be built for and by the people. It's this vision that she and Parti Laval - Équipe Larochelle share: that of a municipal administration capable of responding effectively to the population's basic needs: water quality, resilient infrastructures, safe developments, adaptation to climate change and affordable housing.
