Romina Rajabi

Candidate in Le Carrefour | District #11

Committed, warm-hearted and deeply rooted in her community, Romina Rajabi comes to Le Carrefour with a clear mission. Her mission is to represent the forgotten voices in Laval and to bring citizens closer to their municipal administration.

A law student at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and a retail manager, she combines rigor, listening skills and leadership on a daily basis. For many years, she has been actively involved in causes close to her heart, such as the integration of new arrivals, the fight against food insecurity, the protection of green spaces and support for the elderly. This ongoing commitment has resulted in the management of a community center, the coordination of major events and the facilitation of projects promoting inclusion and living together.

With Parti Laval - Équipe Larochelle, Romina wants to take concrete action on neighborhood issues, in Le Carrefour, to build a more equitable, safe and inclusive city.

My commitments to Le Carrefour

• Improve traffic flow in the Carrefour Laval area and on the neighborhood's main roads, add modern, comfortable bus shelters and revise the layout of certain bike paths to ensure the safety of all.

• Improve the supply of parks and accessible green spaces in the neighbourhood, while increasing the planting of trees and vegetation in the area's heat islands.

• Increase police presence on neighborhood streets
