Simon-Nicolas Grandmaître

Candidate in Champfleury | District #20

Passionate about politics and a seasoned professional in communications and citizen mobilization, Simon-Nicolas has over 15 years' experience in municipal, provincial and federal politics, as well as being actively involved in the community.

A young father of two, he chose to settle in Laval with his wife to start a family and raise his children. Strongly involved in Champfleury since 2018, where he works alongside Councillor Claude Larochelle, Simon-Nicolas actively contributes to local community life in addition to being Vice-Chairman of the Board of CPE La Relève and a member of the Fabreville Knights of Columbus.

Anchored in the field, recognized for his rigor, competence, ability to listen and passion, he has also been a political attaché in Ottawa, campaign director for Parti Laval and for Michel Trottier, and today holds the position of deputy director in the Laval opposition cabinet. Simon-Nicolas is keen to make progress on concrete issues such as road safety, water management and adaptation to climate change. He wants to continue to embody Parti Laval's DNA and help build a city on a human scale, serving the citizens of Champfleury.
