We need a mayor who knows his files, who isn't there for the cameras and the ribbons, but to deliver. It's time to stop wasting money, and get down to the real business of being responsible and efficient. At Parti Laval, we're committed to doing just that. Starting now,\" says Parti Laval leader and mayoral candidate Claude Larochelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A clear, concrete plan for the people of Laval: taking care of \"real business\".<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parti Laval's leader and mayoral candidate, Mr. Larochelle, explains that it was important for him and his team to make public Parti Laval's plan to \"get the city back on track\" as soon as possible.  \"Many people tell me they no longer recognize their city, that it's slipping away from them. Laval deserves better. At Parti Laval, we want Laval to work for real. We want a safe, clean, affordable and accessible city. A city protected against flooding and an administration that manages citizens' money responsibly,\" adds Claude Larochelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Mr. Larochelle, the platform presented by his party charts a course for a responsible and efficient municipal administration refocused on the real priorities of the people of Laval. The platform is broken down into six priority themes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A city at the service of its citizens and their well-being;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Safe, clean and well-maintained neighborhoods;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responsible finances and an efficient city;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sustainable infrastructures to protect Laval and make it a resilient city;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluid, accessible and equitable mobility;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A city that values its culture, heritage and language.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Parti Laval - \u00c9quipe Larochelle platform presents the main orientations and priorities of the party, which has been in opposition on Laval's city council since 2017, with a view to the November 2 election. However, detailed commitments will be unveiled in the coming weeks for each of the party's priorities, and a full, detailed platform will be released later this fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"This platform is our contract with the people of Laval. It stems from clear priorities: safety in our neighbourhoods, maintenance of water and aqueduct infrastructures, responsible financial management and accessible services in our neighbourhoods. After 12 years of undivided reign by Mayor Boyer's party, Laval deserves better. On November 2, it deserves a serious, rigorous administration focused on real priorities. We're ready to take over.
