Yann Caron

Candidate in Saint-Vincent-de-Paul | District #02

A native of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, where he grew up and later started his family, Yann Caron is intimately familiar with the realities, strengths and challenges of his neighborhood. A candidate in the 2021 municipal elections in Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, he returns today with even greater motivation and the determination to put the municipal administration back at the service of citizens, while standing up for an area he feels has been neglected for too long.

With a degree in nutrition from the Université de Montréal Faculty of Medicine, Yann has built a career spanning more than 25 years in logistics and operations, holding senior positions at the national level in key sectors such as distribution, transportation and municipal procurement. A former municipal employee with the City of Laval and, more recently, manager of the city's purchasing department, he has an insider's knowledge of municipal operations and the levers for action that can concretely improve the lives of Laval residents. Yann has also been involved in his community, notably for various social causes, such as the collection of school supplies for needy youth and several fund-raising events.

Known for his ability to listen, his authenticity, his ethics and his sense of responsibility, Yann chose Parti Laval because he found a team with integrity, open-mindedness and a genuine desire to listen to citizens. A man of action and close to the people, he wants to build a safer and better-served Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, while advancing transportation, the local economy and sound financial management in Laval.
