Parti Laval leader and mayoral candidate - Fabreville municipal councillor
Since 2017, Claude has proudly represented the citizens of the Fabreville district on the municipal council. Trained as an engineer, and after a career of over 30 years as a manager in a major corporation, he pursued studies in law, urban planning and public administration at the Université de Montréal and ENAP. A resident of the Champfleury district for over 30 years and father of three, Claude explains his political involvement by his desire to offer Laval residents a more beautiful, greener, safer and innovative city. His thoroughness and knowledge of the issues make him a formidable asset at City Hall.

Anchored in the community
A resident of Laval for over thirty years, Claude Larochelle is intimately familiar with the realities of his municipality. It's where he chose to start his family, where he saw his children grow up, and where he forged strong ties with citizens, community organizations and local players. This personal and collective experience naturally led him to municipal politics, not out of ambition, but out of a desire to contribute to a more human, more coherent, more vibrant and, above all, more beautiful city.
His approach as an elected official is straightforward: be present, listen and deliver results.

For Claude Larochelle, Laval deserves elected officials who are committed, accessible and capable of responding to real issues. He believes that we can no longer turn our eyes away from fundamental needs: safe neighborhoods, quality local services, efficient management of public resources, and people-centered land use planning.
In a city undergoing major transformation, Claude is convinced that decisions must reflect the true priorities of its citizens. For him, building Laval means above all respond to the real needs of the population, with rigor, consistency and respect.
